last weekend i went to ikano power center to have a look at the younger brother of 404 the 407. nice car.

operation restore

my peugeot is in the process of restoration. or more appropriate to just a repair?
all the brakes need to be changed. i am not sure if my uncle can find the parts in kelantan.
sadly cant upload pic of the process.

vespa own by the 404 seller. after he sold the 404 to me, he is going to restore this scooter.
still in very good condition. with reg card.
will not sell it for any price.

ah Po's 404 gone - sold as besi buruk

mixed feeling during CNY. bought my 404. but cant take it back to kelantan to show off.
and a great dissapointment to hear that ah Po sold the 404 as besi buruk. what a waste. i did urge my mum to go and take the car. but.... it is a long stories. ppl say takde rezeki.

CNY blues 2

transfer name was fast and efficient in seberang jaya. submitted the required forms and waited (go for lunch while waiting) for a bout couple of hour and it was ready. so we drove back to island.

during the way back i sensed something was wrong with the brakes. it seems like only one side got grip. i asked the owner (or now it is my car already????) he said maybe the brake pad is too thick.

jacked up to adjust the brakes. to make both sides grip evenly.














took out the tyres for easier tuning.













p/s my 404 is on day way back from penang today 10 February 2006. now is in grik 12.10pm.
and kena one saman becoz brake lights not working. ouch..

Chinese New Year Blues

much anticipated CNY. trip to penang to take my 404. a joy indeed. bought a ride to penang by train (minor phobia of flying - watching toooooo many Air Crash Investigation episodes) on the 22nd of Jan 2006. can hardly sleep in the coach. arrived in the wee hour around 6 am 23rd of Jan. took the ferry to penang island.

reach my aunt place and cannot tahan so i sleep till noon. called the owner and set the time to seberang jaya to transfer name. he said tomorrow will be ok(24th of Jan). so we drove the 404 to seberang jaya.
